Question: Is it a business meeting or a date?

A “Meeting” is Action time, with major decision topics for one or all of the participants. However, a “Date” is Playtime, with NO major decision topics for any of the participants. A meeting is action. Its about doing, discussing or evaluating important decisions in your business or personal life.

What makes a meeting a date?

“Dating is a stage of romantic relationships in humans whereby two people meet socially with the aim of each assessing the others suitability as a prospective partner in an intimate relationship or marriage”. So, hanging out can be understood as a more casual version of dating.

Does meet up mean date?

They both mean the same thing, but meet up is more colloquial, and it implies a casual meeting with friends, not a business meeting.
