Question: How do you fill Parker 51?

I have a question about how to fill a Parker 51 aerometric. One of the experts here said to do a full squeeze/release 3 times, and then after the 4th squeeze to pull the pen out of the ink and then release the squeeze.

Can I use any ink in my fountain pen?

A: Most fountain pens can use a cartridge or bottled ink with a converter. Any ink that we sell will work with your fountain pen. We recommend using Pelikan or Waterman bottled ink.

Can I use Waterman ink in a Parker pen?

Can I use that Waterman cartridge in my Vector without the converter? No, Waterman cartridges will not work in the Vector.

Can I use Indian ink in fountain pen?

If you want to keep your fountain pen in tip top shape, do not use ink meant for dip pens or calligraphy. That includes India Ink, Lawyers Ink, and anything specifically meant for dip pens. Stick to inks that are specifically designed for fountain pens and you should be fine.

Do Parker Pens take standard cartridges?
